Tracy Wenger, age 48, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 1, 2020. She was born September 12, 1972 in Mechanicsburg to Richard and Susan (Blass) Garber of Landisburg.
In addition to her parents, Tracy is survived by her sister, Krista Jones of Mechanicsburg and her brother, Rick Garber of Landisburg. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Joan Blass of Mechanicsburg, and her paternal grandfather, Donald Garber of Landisburg. Tracy also leaves behind her father-and mother-in-law, Barry and Sharon Wenger of New Bloomfield, and her companion, Tom Howe of Carlisle. She will be deeply missed by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and 7 special nieces.
Tracy was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Wenger, maternal grandfather, Roland Blass, paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Garber, uncle, James Garber, and cousin, Lisa Sechrist.
Tracy was a happy and independent woman of strong faith. She is now in the loving arms of Jesus. Tracy was the personification of kindness and joy, and unconditionally loved her family. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Orioles, Penn State football, Nascar, and dirt track racing at Williams Grove.
Tracy graduated from West Perry High School and continued her education at Lancaster Bible College. She was previously employed by the Book of the Month Club and URS Corp. She was a member of the Carlisle Evangelical Free Church.
A memorial service will be held at Carlisle Evangelical Free Church located at 290 Petersburg Rd. Carlisle. Services are October 17, 2020 at 11 AM.
