Roxanna M (Myers) Innerst

Roxanna Mary (Myers) Innerst, age 86, of Ickesburg, entered her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 26, 2023.  Known to most as “Grandma”, she was born on June 15, 1936, in York County, PA to the late Millard and Phebe (Haugh) Myers.  She graduated in 1954 from William Penn High School in York and married two years later. She is survived by her five children:  Thomas (Debra) Innerst, Melinda (Jay) Brubaker, both of Ickesburg, Amy Fleisher, Mary (Andrew) Geyer, both of Newport, and Steven (Colleen) Innerst of Loysville; 17 grandchildren:  Jason (Olney) Innerst of Ickesburg, Rebecca (John) Trent of Linden, NC, Melissa (Andrew) Baker of Elliottsburg, Jeremy (Lindy) Innerst of Elliottsburg, Joseph Brubaker of Raeford, NC, Andrew (Jennifer) Brubaker of New Bloomfield, Michael (Lauren) Brubaker of Lake Ariel, PA, Anna (Jeffrey) Anderson of Middleburg, PA, Jonathan (Michaela) Geyer of Duncannon, Katie (Jaden) Brajkovich of Newport, Jessica and Evan Fleisher of Newport, Vera, Dominic, Sadie, Grant, and Elizabeth Innerst of Loysville; 18 great-grandchildren:  Jacob, Hattie, Levi, Lilly, Willie, Emme, Walker, Lowen, Callan, Jayden, Hannah, Kaiden, Kegan, Grace, Sophie, Logan, Titus, Nora, and a bundle of joy on the way.  In addition to her parents, Roxanna was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jacob L. Innerst, 1996, and son-in-law, Brian Fleisher.  Roxanna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She always put family first and was generous in her giving and loving.

In addition to raising a family and running a household, Roxanna was a farmer’s wife at Innerst Farm, LLC.  She was a loving and sweet woman.  Roxanna enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and teaching children in the nursery at church. She took pleasure in providing meals for her family and for anyone else who happened to be there. She was a member at Codorus Church of the Brethren and after moving to Perry County, she attended Saville Brethren In Christ Church.  Her family and those who knew her will miss her dearly!

Roxanna’s funeral service will be held at Saville Brethren In Christ Church, 2105 Liberty Valley Road, Ickesburg on Monday, May 1st.  The visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 noon with the service beginning promptly at 12, officiated by Pastor Andrew Meiser.  Interment will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
