Robert Eugene Myers, Jr.

Robert E. Myers, Jr., 69 of New Bloomfield, died surrounded by his loving family on February 22, 2023.  Born on November 10, 1953 in Harrisburg to the late Robert and Pauline (Ditmer) Myers, Sr., Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Barbara (Wallace) Myers.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-son, Paul (Victoria) Stone of Bloserville; two nieces he raised as his daughters:  Hayley (Andy) Fulk of Everett and Saydey Goudy of New Bloomfield; two grandchildren:  Oliver and Aviana; six siblings:  Diane Tobias, Donald (Terri) Myers, Jane (Marshall) Breinich, Joseph Myers, Roger (Tammy) Myers, and Edith Nevius, all of Duncannon, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two siblings:  Jeffrey Myers and Ruth Myers. 

Robert worked for GS Electric in Carlisle, and then as an assembler for Patton Pictures in Mechanicsburg, where he served for over 10 years.  In addition to being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, Robert loved watching NCIS, Golden Girls, and scary movies.  This stubborn man loved to drink coffee, eat his carrot cake, mow the lawn, and spend time with his two adorable grandchildren.  Family always came first with Robert.

The memorial service for Robert will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
