Lewis “Skip” Clifford Crull, age 85 and formerly of Landisburg, entered into eternal rest on July 20, 2022. Born at home on October 20, 1936 to the late Malcolm and Ethel (Rowe) Crull of Landisburg, Skip is survived by two children: Clifford (Wendy) Crull of Port Charlotte, FL and Tara Crull of Camp Hill, and their mother Lois (Shaw) Crull; his grandson, Jason Evin Crull of Harrisburg, step grandchildren: Alyssa Smith and Adam Smith of Hershey; his sister, Darlene Luckenbaugh of Shermans Dale, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Skip is preceded in death by his son, Jason Crull and two brothers: Arthur Crull and Clifford Dean Crull, who died as an infant.
After graduation with the class of 1954 of Landisburg High School, Skip proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Weapons Mechanic. As a civilian, Skip drove trucks at the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg, as well as Penn Truck Lines, Wilson Freight and Sweger Van Lines part-time after retirement. When he wasn’t driving, Skip enjoyed his friends and memberships in the NRA and VFW, and he was a member of the now-closed Walnut Bottom Church of Christ.
The funeral service for Skip will be held at the graveside in Landisburg Cemetery on Monday, July 25 at 10 AM, and by the special request of Skip, officiated by Jason Evin Crull, his grandson. The family and pallbearers will meet at the Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home at 9 AM for lining up in procession. The procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 AM and travel to Landisburg Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on August 8 at 10 AM at Shermans Dale United Methodist Church.
