Kenneth Robert Dawson

Kenneth R. Dawson, age 72 of Loysville passed away on December 29th 2019. He was born on January 24th 1947 to the late Philip and Mary (Baumeister) Dawson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Kenneth graduated from St.Francis Vocational School. He served in the U.S Navy as a Seamen Apprentice from 1964 to 1965. Later he worked at the Loysville Youth Development Center as a Counselor for many years, retiring on January 24th 1997. He also worked as a bartender at many places and worked many jobs post retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years Lorraine N. (Hertzler) Dawson and his children; Edward Dawson, Kathy Julius, Kenneth R. Dawson Jr., Jason Dawson, Adam Figard, and Peter Figard. His step children; Jessica Hertzler, Zachary Hertzler, Cody Hertzler, and Elliot Hertzler. His brother Philip Dawson and his sisters Mary Benjamin and Anna Elia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Dorothy Jennifer Dawson and his brothers James Dawson and Albert Dawson.
