George Parker Obituary

George M Parker, 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia on March 7, 1948 to the late George and Veronica (Nagle) Parker, George is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Lois (Burns) Parker.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children:  George (Cathleen) Parker, Patrick (Janine) Parker, Lisa (William) Foly of Blain, and Allison (Ken) Trouts of Mt Laurel, NJ; an “honorary daughter”, Victoria (Christopher) Py of Quakertown; twelve grandchildren:  Alicia (Zach) Howell of Blain, Angela (Nate) Perilli of Duncannon, Alexandra Foley of Blain, Anthony (Becca) Petrasso of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Kaila (Diego) Trouts, Karli Trouts, and Audrey Trouts, all of Mt Laurel, NJ, Shelby Parker, George Parker, Jack Parker, Amanda Parker and Brandon Parker; and four great-grandchildren.  In addition to Lois, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, George is survived by his sister, Kathleen (Joseph) Donnalley of Maple Glen.

George had a successful career selling Cadillacs at Faulkner Cadillac in Trevose.  He was the top salesman for the company for many years.  After moving to Blain, George discovered his passion (perhaps an obsession) with cats.  Each evening he reliably fed all the outside cats at 6 PM.  He cared for them and protected them as if they were his children.

Funeral services for George will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made in George’s name to Blain Ambulance Club, PO Box 7, Blain, PA 17006 OR Zion Lutheran Church, PO Box 127, Blain, PA  17006.
