Emily D Ricedorf

Emily “Em” D. Ricedorf, age 83, of Loysville, left her Earthly home and entered into her eternal home with Jesus on September 21, 2021.  Emily was born at home on November 15, 1937 to the late Oscar and Thelma (Reeder) Ricedorf of Greenpark.  She is survived by her sisters:  Anna J. Reisinger of Landisburg and Martha J. Weibley of Loysville; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her late parents, Em is preceded in death by two brothers:  Dale Milton and Franklin Ricedorf. 

Em graduated from Blain Union High School in 1958.  She enjoyed travelling – two of her most exotic places were Germany and Hawaii.  Emily was employed at Capitol, Maslands, Musselmans, and Amp.  She was a resident of Shermans Valley Apartments for 16 years.  She loved to talk to people and socialize and actively watch television game shows.

Burial will be private at Mount Zion Cemetery in Landisburg and held at the convenience of the family.
