Dennis E Morrison

Dennis E Morrison, age 59, was found deceased in his home on July 21, 2020.  Dennis was born January 24, 1961 in Carlisle to Blaine B Morrison (deceased) and Dorothy L. (Baker) Morrison of Shermans Dale.  In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by one brother, Thomas B Morrison of Shermans Dale and three sisters:  Judy L Clouser (Robert) and Joan E Deiter (Edward) of Landisburg, and Kathy A Eshleman (Sidney) of Land-O-Lakes, Florida.  Dennis is also survived by a nephew, Barry E Clouser of Landisburg and a niece, Krystal A Morrison of Colorado.  Dennis was happiest when he was working with his heavy equipment – John Deere was his favorite.  His equipment was never stored until it was cleaned.

Dennis was a man of simple pleasures.  He loved to have visitors and watch old Western movies.  He worked for 31 years in the Maintenance Department of the West Perry School District.  He was also a Tyrone Township Supervisor for 11 years.  As a natural extension of his passion for heavy equipment, Dennis also operated both a welding shop and an excavating business over the years.  He was a member of Kennedy’s Valley Church of God, Landisburg Fire Company and the Landisburg Ambulance Association.

Graveside services will be held privately on Wednesday July 29, 2020.
