Dean P. Zeigler, Jr., age 46, was found deceased in his home in Loysville on September 21, 2021. Born in Camp Hill on July 7, 1975 to Dean Zeigler, Sr. of Blain and Deborah (Radabaugh) Lockett of Tioga County, he loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughter and working on cars. He is survived by his doting daughter, Caitlin Zeigler and adorable granddaughter, Asha Goss, both Perry County natives, and two siblings: Bryan (Angie) Zeigler of Middletown and Chanda (James Kermit) McKown of Elliottsburg; and five nephews and nieces. Dean is preceded in death by his wife, Heather (Michael) Zeigler.
Dean graduated from West Perry High School and followed his passion of automobiles. He worked as an auto body technician at Ed’s Auto Body in Landisburg, as well as Fine Line Auto Body and Safelite, both in Carlisle, and Faulkner of Harrisburg. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing, playing pool and UFC.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place in the newly renovated chapel of Nickel Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM. Guests are requested to come prepared to write a memory of Dean for the family to read and enjoy as they grieve.
