Ben was a perfectionist, which was a necessary work characteristic, since he painted for 15 years and then continued his career in sheet metal fabrication with AMP, Inc. (now Tyco TE Connectivity). He retired from AMP, Inc. in 1998, after working for them for 35 years.
In addition to being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, Ben worked on the family farm. He loved hunting, fishing, and being in the great outdoors.
