V. Gary Lauver, of Shermans Dale, died at the Manor Care Health Center of Carlisle on July 23, 2019.

He was born on August 14, 1945 in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Don Lauver and Ruth Calvert Erdman.

Gary worked for America's Auto Auction in Harrisburg, PA, as a driver. In addition, he worked at Walmart and the Ford Motor Company in Cleveland, Ohio.

He is survived by his daughter Dawn Blessing and her husband Joe of Landisburg; 3 grandchildren Amanda Roberts and her husband Mark, Ashley Blessing, and Josh Blessing, all are from Landisburg. He is also survived by 4 siblings; Steve Lauver and his wife Ann of Carlisle, Lloyd Warren and his wife Sharon of Shippensburg, Joey Warren and his wife LuAnn of Mechanicsburg, and Sherry Troupe of Carlisle. In addition, he is survived by a a brother-in-law, Bill Green.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 7 PM at the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Sherman's Valley Road, Loysville, PA 17047.
