WAYNESBORO, PENNSYLVANIA
Thomas “Tom” Milton Bock, age 61 of Waynesboro died late on Saturday evening, January 19, 2019 at the Falling Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg.
Born June 7, 1957 in Waynesboro he was the son of the late Joseph and Joyce (Geeseman) Bock.
Tom was a 1976 graduate of Waynesboro Area Sr. High School.
In his younger days he worked at many restaurants around the Waynesboro area. He was also known for helping his dad Joe on his various projects including the Waynesboro 4th of July Fire Works.
Tom had myotonic dystrophy and finally lost the battle.
He was a member of the Waynesboro Vol. Fire Department joining originally as part of the A.T.H.&L. Company.
Tom like hiking, camping and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by two brothers, Michael Bock, and Huber Daniel "Danny" Bock and two sisters Nancy Rouzer and Elizabeth Stainbrook all of Waynesboro and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by a brother Joseph L. Bock II and a sister Laura Jane Tressler and her husband Robert.
A private memorial service will be at a later time for the family.
