Suzanne Foose Clouser

Suzanne “Sue” Foose Clouser, age 85, of New Bloomfield was called home on Thursday, April 25, 2019 with her family by her side.

Born November 5, 1933 in Center Twp., she was the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Mary A. (Clouser) Foose.

Sue was the wife of the late Donald E. Clouser.

Before her Retirement Suzanne worked at Naval Supply Depot where she had worked shipping parts at the control center.

Suzanne was deeply involved  with her church Little Germany Church of God where she was a member for over 60 years. She also served as treasurer for 36 years, and taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Senior Citizen’s Center in New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, where she served on the board of directors for ten years, Chairman of the ways and means committee for ten years, and participated in meals on wheels. She  was a member of the Ladie’s Auxiliary in New Bloomfield ,Pennsylvania. Where she worked in the kitchen and did various  fund raisers.  Sue was a life member of the Perry County Historical Society.

She is survived by two sons Donald L. Clouser and his wife Rusty of Newport; Douglas E. Clouser and his wife Shelbee of New Bloomfield, PA, of  New Bloomfield and six grandchildren Rachel Clouser; Kolten Gouse; Eric Lindenberger; Shaun Lindenberger; Gunner Detra and Trutt Detra. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her a daughter Pamela K. Clouser Gouse, four brothers; Albert E. Foose, Walter E. Foose, Harry C. Foose and Raymond C. Foose, three sisters; Ida E. Matello, Pearl F. Arndt and Pauline Weldon.

 A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10 A.M. in the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Sherman’s Valley Road, Loysville.   Interment will be private.
