Shirley Elizabeth Rowe, age 83, of Blain, died February 2, 2019 at Premier Perry Village, New Bloomfield, PA.

Born September 22, 1935 in New Germantown she was the daughter of Merle and Mable Shuman Smith.

She was the wife of Lloyd E. Rowe.

She was employed until her retirement at Soco Restaurant as a cook and dishwasher in Carlisle.

Shirley was preceded in death by daughter; Arlene Johnson, sisters; Marie Sara Sweger, Ann Moyer and brothers; Dean Elmer Smith, Lawrence Smith, Elwood Smith.

Glen Shuman, and grandson; Waylon Rowe.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Lloyd Alton Rowe of Blain, a daughter Darlene Elaine Armolt of Newville, three sisters; Vada Mae Knisley, Doris Neely, Karen Elaine Stone, 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. in the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Sherman’s Valley Road, Loysville, PA followed by a funeral service at 10 A.M. with Rev. William Pipp officiating.  Interment to follow at Blain Cemetery.
