Ruth N. Hostetter, age 90, of Blain was called home on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Manor Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born, October 15, 1928 in New Germantown, Perry County she was the daughter of the late Milton and Grace (Welcomer) Wilson.
She was the wife of the late Wayne Hostetter.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother all of her life.
She was an active member from 1928-2010 at the New Germantown United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters Debra M. Smith of Loysville and Denise E. Kuhn of Blain; two sons Timothy W. Hostetter of Landisburg and Robert E. Hostetter of Idaho; five grandchildren Wesley S. Smith; Eric T. Smith; Jeremy W. Hostetter; Zachary D. Kuhn;Jessica Wolfe of Arkansas and three great grandchildren Teagan R. Smith, Martin L. Kuhn and Noah W. Hostetter; She is preceded in death by brothers and sisters George Wilson; Gertrude Davis; Mary Doelker; Robert Wilson and Bernard Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the New Germantown United Methodist Church, 3390 Big Spring Road, Blain with a funeral service to follow at 11 A.M. with Rev. Jean Felty officiating. Interment in Blain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation; 3544 N.
