Ronald Keith Ickes

Ronald Keith Ickes, age 76, of Media, Pennsylvania died on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Mercy Fitgerald Hospice in Darby, Pennsylvania.

Born September 1, 1943 in Carlisle he was the son of the late William S. and G. Ruth Seidel Ickes.

He attended the PA School for deaf and Helen Keller Center for the blind.  where he graduated from High School.

He worked at the Elwin School where he worked sorting mechanical parts for an industrial company until his retirement.

He is survived by a sisters Frances Owen and Sadie Kitner both of  New Bloomfield: nieces Pamela Owen; Heidi Good; and nephews James Kitner; Scott Good and Rich Good. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers William Ickes, Jr. and Richard Ickes.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 1 PM in the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA.  Rev. Denis McCleary officiating.  Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Newport.
