Lois I. Mumper

Lois I. (Lowery) Mumper, age 88, of New Germantown was called home to be with the Lord suddenly on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her home.

Born May 29, 1931 in Centre County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Lazelle R. and Dorothy S. (Wright) Lowery.

She was the wife of the late Ronald “Ron” K. Mumper who died in 2012.

Lois was employed until her retirement as a packer at the New Cumberland Army Depot. She also worked for the West Perry School District.

She was a member of the New Germantown United Methodist Church; American Legion Post 232; and many country western bands.

She is survived by four children; Dorothy Irene Colony and her husband Charles of Hollidaysburg; Ronald Kerry Mumper Jr., and R. Kelly Swanger and her husband Mark of New Germantown and Randy Keith Mumper and his wife Alisa of Shermans Dale; a sister Peg Marter of Hollidaysburg, seven Grandchildren, five Great Grandchildren, and two Great Great Grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by six brothers and sisters; Martha “Sis” Gravish, Bill Lowery, L. “Joe” Lowery, Sally Hoy, Lloyd Lowery, and Richard Lowery.

 Funeral service  will be held July 3, 2019 at 12:30 PM  in the Nickel- Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Inc. 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA 17047.
