ELLIOTTSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA
Karen Margaret Clites, 64, of Elliottsburg, Pennsylvania passed away in an automobile accident, on Monday August 27, 2018.
Karen was born on April 1, 1954 to the late Alvin and Ruth Lonseth of Lethbridge, Alberta.
She and her first husband, David Allan Dodds, lived in Moosomin, Saskatchewan until he passed away on May 23, 2010.
Karen loved the Lord, following His teachings as a non-denominational Christian. Throughout her life she was a living example of God’s instruction for a wife, a mother, a sister, a neighbor, and a friend. She loved God’s work in the earth causing her to live in Canada, Laos, Cambodia, China and the U.S., helping others understand God’s Way.
Karen is survived by her husband Richard Clites of Elliottsburg, PA, and her children and families: daughter - Jenn (Daryl) Webber, and sons Owen, Aiden, Sam, and Luke of Wanham, AB; son - Clinton (Crystal) Dodds, and children Zack, Mia, and Zane of Lloydminister, AB; daughter - Shannon (Jamie) Blades and children Tanner, Cheyanne and Kamia of Moosomin, SK; and son - Brennan ( Briana) Dodds, and children Kane, Rye, Tel, Zee and Kaye of Moosomin, SK. and by Richard’s children and families - Ronald (Stephanie) Clites and children Kalyn, Robert, Alexis and Ian of Carlisle, PA; Timothy (Linda) Clites and children Isaak, Lukas, and Tyler of Middleburg, VA; Sue (Mark) Noble and children Matthew, Zachariah and Lilianna of Fort Washington, PA; and Dan (Kate) Clites and children Zolani and Sally.
Her brothers - Grant (Lana) Lonseth of Lethbridge, AB; Glenn (Hazel) Lonseth of Bainbridge Is, WA; and Murray, deceased (Colleen) Lonseth of Calgary AB.
Services will be held on Saturday September 1, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Perry Mennonite Reception Center, 350 Greenpark Rd, Elliottsburg, PA with ministers Bobby Sylvia and Dan Helenek officiating. A viewing will precede the services from 11:00am til time of the service. A light luncheon will follow the funeral. Burial will be in Moosomin, SK at the convenience of the family.
