Joyce M. Latchford

Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania

Joyce M. Latchford, age 86, of Shermans Dale formerly of Loysville went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 25, 2019 surrounded by her family.

She was born February 29, 1932 in Saville Twp., she was the daughter of the late Walter D. Sweger and Dorothy M. (Orris) Sweger Duncan.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Latchford.

She had been employed until her retirement at the Perry County Transportation as a driver.  She had also worked at the Robert Wagner Restaurant in Kistler.

She was a member of the Sandy Hill United Church of Christ, Madison Grange #2064 and the Ickesburg Lions Club.

Joyce is survived by three sons, Wayne H. Latchford and his wife Janet; Gregory L. Latchford (Helen); and Christopher D. Latchford (Lisa); two siblings Faye(Russ) Reisinger; Neil (Elaine) Sweger; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9th , 2019 at 10 A.M. in the Sandy Hill U.C.C. Church, 6300 Tuscarora Path, Loysville, PA followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 A.M. with Rev. Michael Boehm officiating.   Interment will be private.
