Joshua Jeremiah Wolfkill

MIDDLETOWN, MARYLAND

Mr. Joshua Jeremiah Wolfkill, 28, of Middletown died Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD.

Born December 5, 1990 in Annapolis, he was the son of Paul Eugene Jr., and Tressa Charlene Lloyd Wolfkill of Middletown, MD. He was a 2009 graduate of Middletown High School and had attended Frederick Community College.

Joshua worked as a chef; as well as in construction within Frederick County.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Joshua enjoyed a multitude of sports, and particularly Ice Hockey.  He participated with the Middletown High School Knights Hockey Team.

Surviving, besides his parents, are his siblings Rebekah C. Wolfkill of Baltimore, MD; Aaron C. Wolfkill of Middletown, MD; and Leah M. Kimpel and husband Adam of Charles Town, West Virginia; his paternal grandmother Treasey Virginia Utterback Wolfkill of Clarksville; as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Lochstampfor Funeral Home Inc, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.  There will not be visitation at the funeral home.  The family will receive friends in the Chapel Of Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown, on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 AM.  The Rev. Jeffrey S. Messer will officiate, assisted by Rev. Mark M. Waldron.  Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Brethren Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.

Joshua was the fortunate recipient of a heart valve due to a congenital defect.  He kindly returned his good fortune as a donor recipient by becoming a donor with the good Living Legacy Foundation.  And because of his heart defect, his family would suggest memorial donations in Joshua’s name, for those interested, to The Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute Development Office, 600 N. Wolfe Street, 536 Blalock, Baltimore, Maryland  21287.
