SHERMANS DALE, PENNSYLVANIA

Jennie Lee (Weaver) Baer, age 83, of Shermans Dale died on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA.

Born February 4, 1936 in Marysville, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte (Leidy) Weaver.

She attended Green Park Union High School.

On April 10, 1954 she married her loving late husband Glenn Eugene Baer.

Jennie worked most of her life giving personal health care in families homes.

She loved cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and family, enjoyed watching nature and Friday game night.

She was a member of Shermans Dale United Methodist Church.

Jennie is survived by two daughters, Patricia Gearld of Carlisle; Ellen Miller of Landisburg; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and two sisters Kathryn Anthony and Charlotte Nesbit and her husband Robert both of Landisburg.   In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by a daughter Debra Hill and two brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:30 A.M. to 12 Noon at the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc., 3626 Sherman’s Valley Road, Loysville, PA followed by a funeral service at 12 with Rev. Scott Leone officiating.  Interment in Mount Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Grace Evangelical Church, 12 Dromgold Dr, Shermans Dale, PA 17090
