James Benjamin Stum

James B Stum, 86 of Landisburg , born to the late J. Gordon and Nancy  E. (Clouse) Stum, went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2019 at his son’s home.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margaret E “Peg” Stum, their infant daughter Peggy Ann Stum and a sister, Sara Mae Stum.

He is survived by his three sons, Steven A. and wife Auralia Stum of Landisburg, James B. and wife Wanda Stum of Mechanicsburg and William D. and wife Susan Stum of Landisburg.  Also, five grandchildren, Chris, Jamie, Cody, Whitney and Morgan Stum and three great grandchildren, Dyllan, Jaycee and Devon Stum.

Jim was retired from Carlisle Syntec (formerly Carlisle Tire and Rubber) after 42 years of service.  He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather.   His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and they don’t think you could find a better “Pappy”.

There will be a time of visitation for family and friends on Saturday, May 4th from 10:30am until 12:00pm at Nickel-Lochstampfor Funeral Home in Loysville.  There will be a Memorial service at 12 noon, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Pooley officiating.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice Care of Carlisle, 1200 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle or the Dementia Society of America.
