G. "Weizie:" Louise Sheaffer

G. “Weizie” Louise Sheaffer, age 94 of Shermans Dale was called home to be with her Lord on August 26, 2019 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.

Born February 20, 1925 in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Delilah (Miller) Printz.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Sheaffer.

She had been employed at Kinney Shoes in Carlisle until her retirement.

She was a member of the Youngs United Methodist Church in Shermans Dale and the New Bloomfield Senior Center.

She enjoyed going to camp in Tioga County and was a good grandmother and babysitter. She loved planting flowers and gardening.

She is survived by two sons Ray K. Sheaffer and his wife Sonja and Bruce E. Sheaffer and his wife Rebecca and a daughter Anita L. Sheaffer 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one great granddaughter.  In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by brothers and sisters Arthur; William and Thomas Printz; Eva Carmmeron-Barrick; Mary Frey; Frances Miller; Anna Failor Hemminger and 1 grandson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Youngs United Methodist Church 101 Youngs Church Rd, Sherman’s Dale, PA 17090 followed by a funeral service at 11 A.M. with Rev. Travis Allshouse Officiating.  Interment in Youngs United Methodist Church Cemetery following.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sherman’s Dale Fire Co, 5450 Spring Road, Sherman’s Dale, PA 17090.
