Everett William Myers, Jr. age 74 of Loysville died on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Locust Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mifflin, PA.
Born July 28, 1945 in Newport, he was the son of the late Everett W. Myers Sr and his wife Verna Woodward Myers.
Mr. Myers was a graduate of Newport High School.
He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam where he received the Good Conduct medal.
On December 13, 1987 he married his devoted wife Virginia B. Myers at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Andersonburg, PA.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, VFW New Bloomfield and the NRA.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children; Dina Brown and her husband Kenny of Dunmellon, FL and Mary Wahl of Loysville; a granddaughter Megan Whalon of Washinton D.C. and a grandson Alex Wahl of Woodlyn, PA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers and sisters; Jean Dobbs, Melvin Myers, Loretta Jane Mitchell, and Rochelle Linda Myers.
