Donald S. Hower Jr.

Duncannon, Pennsylvania

Donald “Donnie” Sieber Hower, Jr. age 63 of Duncannon died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the UPMC Pinnacle Health Harrisburg Hospital.

Born February 3, 1955 in Lewistown, PA  he was the son of the late Donald S. Hower Sr. and Catherine Jane Short  Hower.

He graduated from West Perry Sr. High School in 1973.

He was a member of the Centre Presbyterian Church in Loysville.

He was a avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He is survived by a brother Stephen S. Hower and wife Kathy of Millerstown; niece’s Elizabeth S. Maize and Erin Jane Stewart, nephew Eric Joseph Stewart and his wife Jen and their Children.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Catherine Ann (Hower) Stewart and brother in-law Eric Stewart.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 10 A.M. in the Center Presbyterian Church, 3912 Freeman Hollow Road, Loysville, PA 17047 followed by a funeral service at 11 AM with the Rev. William S. Hambright officiating.  Interment in Center Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the care given to Donnie at Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation, Duncannon and by the Fresenius Dialysis Center in New Bloomfield.
