Bob graduated from Juniata Joint High School and was a member at the United Methodist Church of New Bloomfield. He was a career truck driver. He drove on Three Mile Island in the 1970s during its construction (as a member of Teamsters Local #776), and then he drove logging trucks for J. Nevin White and Tuscarora Hardwoods, from which he retired in December 1998. In his retirement, he also drove for Millers Auto Parts in New Bloomfield.
Bob enjoyed building model trucks and then discovered his passion for woodworking. Each of the five children proudly talk about the project that Bob built for them to cherish and remember him by. Bob also enjoyed NASCAR racing.
Bob’s family is currently planning a memorial service in the future, but those plans have not been announced at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bob’s name to East Waterford Cemetery, 36 Fry Road, East Waterford, PA 17021.
